The Texas Department of Agriculture’s Rural Affairs team is currently working on a report that takes an in-depth look at life and business in rural Texas. Community Engagement Takes Center Stage in Lubbock

Connected Texas is getting a boost in spreading the word on community engagement efforts. The topic recently took center stage at the Texas Economic Development Council’s summer meeting in Lubbock. The annual conference took place July 11 through 13 at the Overton Hotel. Connected Texas’ Bart Winegar was on-hand to give conference participants a detailed lesson on how the initiative is reaching out to Texas communities.
