Texas Gearing Up For Broadband Communities Summit

Connected Texas is helping make April a month to focus on broadband in communities! In addition to the Digital Inclusion Conference that Connected Texas is co-hosting in Austin in late April, Executive Director Don Shirley is headed to Dallas on April 16 to participate in the 2013 Broadband Communities Summit! Today is National Digital Literacy Day and we’re excited to be joining others in celebrating the progress being made to foster broadband adoption and Internet training in communities across the United States, but more work needs to be done! For SXSWedu, Connected Texas teamed with Intel and the Texas Computer Education Association to hold “Engaging Texas Students @ Home” on Wednesday, March 6 in Austin.
