Friday morning kicks off the Digital Inclusion in Texas: A Conference and Colloquium in Austin. The two-day event promises panels and speakers rich with knowledge to share in helping the state achieve its goal of teaching all Texans imperative Internet and technology skills to thrive in our digital age. Google Fiber Coming to Austin

The Texas capitol is getting a huge boost in embracing the technology of the future! Google announced last week that Google Fiber, the company’s gigabit Internet service and digital cable package, is coming to Austin in 2014. Google Fiber provides customers with broadband Internet speeds of one gigabit per second, roughly 100 times faster than the average U.S. connection! Digital Inclusion Conference Coming to Austin

We’re less than two weeks away from the Digital Inclusion in Texas Conference and Colloquium! Connected Texas is co-hosting the Digital Inclusion in Texas Conference and Colloquium for providers, decision makers, and people interested in best practices and public policy around digital inclusion across the state.
